In the Seven Woods - Selected Poems of W. B. Yeats - 读趣百科

In the Seven Woods

Among pigeons and bees, while that Great Archer,

Tara uprooted, and new commonness

The unavailing outcries and the old bitterness

I HAVE heard the pigeons of the Seven Woods

I am contented, for I know that Quiet

Wanders laughing and eating her wild heart

Who but awaits His hour to shoot, still hangs

And hanging its paper flowers from post to post,
